Our Customer Service Representatives are trained to handle a customer's first report of loss.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting customers from all parts of the country with various types and severity of claims.
The Customer Service Representatives will be empowered to provide front-line services such as rental car, towing, and emergency help.
They will also verify coverage, coordinate emergency cleanup, and offer various guaranteed direct repair facilities to ensure the customer is on the road to recovery.
This is an extremely important position due to the customer service representative being the customers first point of contact, often times when something very serious or bad has happened to them; for example, a car accident involving an injury or property damage to their home. Many customers are understandably distraught, upset, and emotional when they make the call to our Customer Service Representatives. Our customers expect to reach someone who will not only handle their claim knowledgeably, effectively, and efficiently, but also someone who genuinely cares about them and what they are going through.
These assignments are temporary. The positions become available in response to severe weather events and the duration of the assignment is dictated by our client's business need and call volume. Assignments generally last between a couple of days to a couple of weeks in length.
We often do not receive more than 24 hours' notice before temporary help is needed. Ideal candidates will have open availability and require very little notice before they are able to start work.
The training for this position is very fast-paced, usually lasting only the first 4 hours of your first work shift.
Working hours: 1st and 2nd shift, and weekends
2 years of customer service experience required.
1 year of office experience and/or call center preferred.
All information regarding the claim is managed on-line or on the computer, therefore strong PC skills, keyboarding skills (30
wpm), excellent spelling, grammar, and overall communication skills are essential.

Because of the complexity of the different situations they encounter, it is very important for our Customer Service Representatives to be good decision-makers with the confidence to make quick, accurate decisions based upon the experience and training they have received. When our CCRs are on the phone with a customer, they have a lot to do and remember. They have to be actively listening and responding to the customers, not only with correct information, but with empathy.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
