Randstad is looking for excellent, dependable candidates to increase our candidate pool for mailroom machine operators for one of our premier clients in Caledonia, MI.
These temporary positions come available on all 3 shifts, and offer an opportunity to work in a state of the art Printing and Distribution Center!
For the right candidate, a temporary position with this client could lead to a permanent opportunity.
Job
Summary:
Operates a computerized mailing and inserting machine to prepare mail for delivery.
Operates Bowe One interphase programs for the inserters.
Prepares and submits Inserting reports for job balancing.
Performs formal Quality Audits.
Trouble shoots minor machine issues and escalates software/ hardware issues to Management.
May be cross trained to operate a postage meter machine, prepare proof of mail, and shipping, other duties as assigned.
Collect supplies for assigned jobs at the beginning of shift and during shift as needed.
Working hours: 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and weekends
One to two years of factory experience or equal experience in a production environment required.
Inserting mailing equipment experience preferred.
Required physical activities include: carrying up to 50 lbs. maximum, lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum, reaching, seeing, standing for extended periods, walking, kneeling, pushing, pulling, sorting, cleaning, twisting, climbing, hearing, and squatting, along with repetitive use of arms and hands.
Must be able to do simple math
