We Embrace Change We Pursue (Pear)fection We Hear You We Work Hard, We Play Hard What you'll do The Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic is part of a fast-paced team responsible for providing mechanical support to the production floor by maintaining, installing, modifying, and repairing all equipment used to produce high-quality, world-class customizable hair, skin, and body care products.
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs, diagnosing/troubleshooting maintenance issues, performing various maintenance repairs, welding, and fabrication to support the daily production schedule.
Assist operators and fellow mechanics with troubleshooting challenges during set-ups, operation, and equipment to ensure product quality and safety, including installation and assistance validating new equipment.
Work in a team environment with co-workers from other departments to improve plant safety, quality, and quantity.
Take the initiative and actively participate in problem analysis, identifying root causes and suitable permanent solutions to meet production and building needs.
What you need 1 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance with prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience.
Advanced mechanical skills, including the ability to analyze causes of mechanical breakdown and arrive at a solution.
Proficiency with computers, including email and Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong work ethic and self-motivation with the ability to work independently with little/no direction.
Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and consistently stand/walk on a concrete floor, bend, stoop, and climb stairs.
